Child’s 23rd/25th Birthday?

  • The Dental Benefit Plan of the Electrical Industry and the Dental Benefit Plan of the Elevator Industry(“The Dental Plans”): Under the Dental Plans, coverage for an unmarried dependent child who is a full-time student ends when the child reaches age 25.

    For COBRA continuation of your child’s dental coverage, notify the Members’ Records Department at the Joint Industry Board within 60 days after the child’s eligibility ends. Your child will then be required to submit a COBRA Application Form to the Joint Industry Board within 60 days after your child is notified of his/her right to elect COBRA continuation coverage.
